A Murewa woman has bean sentenced to an effective 26 months imprisonment accused of of having sexual intercourse with 14 year old boy.
The 24 year old woman appeared at Murewa Regional Magistrates' Court and was convicted of having sex with a minor.
The court heard that on February 14, 2026, the offender visited the victim's residence and found the victim in the company of his brother.
The three spent some time watching videos on a cellphone.

Later that evening, the offender followed the victim to a room where the offender initiated an intimate encounter, which resulted in sexual intercourse.
The offender left and returned to her home.
The matter came to light on February 27, 2026, when the victim reported health concerns to his father.
Following an inquiry by the father, the victim disclosed that he had sexual intercourse with the offender earlier that month.
The matter was subsequently reported to the police, leading to the arrest of the offender.
