Korfball Returns to Harare

The wait is over for korfball enthusiasts in Harare as the Harare Korfball League games kick off this weekend at Mufakose High School 2. The Zimbabwe Korfball Federation (ZKF) is hosting the tournament, which aims to promote the sport's growth and showcase local talent.

The mixed-gender sport, known for promoting teamwork and inclusivity, has been gaining popularity among young athletes and school-based clubs. The league games will provide a platform for players to demonstrate their skills and introduce the sport to a wider audience.

"Korfball is all about teamwork and inclusivity, and we're excited to be bringing it back to Harare," said Angeline Kashangura, Secretary General of the Zimbabwe Korfball Federation. "We're working to expand korfball in Zimbabwe and create more opportunities for clubs and young athletes."
