Mwaudzeni was sentenced to 10 years on each count, with four years suspended on condition of good behaviour and a further one year suspended on condition of restitution.

An iPhone 11 Pro Max recovered during investigations will be returned to its owner. Police tracked the device after it was sold to Brian Tichaona Duma, who reported it as stolen using the iCloud “Find My iPhone” feature.

Mwaudzeni was later arrested at his Epworth residence, where police recovered a 9mm AK blank pistol and live rounds.
