A dispute over a property transaction commission turned violent at Lingsgate Company in Kensington, Harare, when a 37-year-old man allegedly attempted to harm his former business associate.
Mudiwa David, of Mabelreign, appeared before the Harare Magistrates’ Courts facing attempted murder charges.

The court heard that David approached the complainant demanding payment of his commission from a property deal. However, he was advised by the engineer responsible for the project that the payment would be handled directly.
Tensions escalated when David allegedly blocked the complainant’s vehicle before emerging with a knuckle duster and threatening him.
The matter is set to continue today.
