Speaking after receiving the honours, Parehwa credited her supporters for playing a central role in her journey.

“These awards wouldn't have been possible without the unwavering support of my amazing fans,” she said.

“I want to thank the fans for voting for me, for reading my books, for listening to my music and for being part of this journey. Your encouragement means the world to me,” she added.

The latest recognition raises Parehwa’s career award tally to three. In 2024, she won the Best Traditional Gospel Singer award, a breakthrough moment that strengthened her position within Zimbabwe’s gospel music landscape.

Her continued success highlights the growing influence of multi-talented female creatives who are expanding their reach beyond a single artistic discipline, blending music, faith and storytelling to connect with wider audiences.
