A 21-year-old Harare man has appeared before the Harare Magistrates' Court facing attempted murder charges following a stabbing incident linked to an alleged domestic dispute in Kuwadzana.
Chenjerai Magejo, an unemployed resident of Kuwadzana 1, is accused of stabbing a man multiple times during a confrontation that occurred at Kuwadzana 1 Home Industry on March 18, 2026, at around 2pm.
The State alleges that the complainant, an adult male from the same neighbourhood and unrelated to Magejo, found the accused speaking with his wife at his doorstep despite previously barring him from visiting the residence.

Court proceedings heard that a dispute broke out, during which the complainant allegedly struck Magejo with a rubber object and chased him away from the premises.
Prosecutor Blessed Songozo told the court that Magejo allegedly returned shortly afterward armed with a knife and attacked the complainant, stabbing him four times in the back after he fell to the ground.
The complainant was later medically examined following the assault.
Magejo is scheduled to return to court on April 17 as the matter continues.
