Indonesian cabinet minster in Zim to boost trade relations

The Coordinating Minister of Maritime and Investment of the Republic of Indonesia, Honourable Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, today visited the country for a scheduled courtesy call on President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Honourable Pandjaitan met the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Dr Frederick Shava, Minister of Mines and Mining Development Hon Winston Chitanda, Minister of Industry and Commerce, Dr Sekai Nzenza and members of the private sector.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade spokesperson, L. Mugejo, the visit is meant to strengthen the already existing cordial relations between Zimbabwe and Indonesia.

“Our reaffirmation and engagement policy is bearing fruit as Zimbabwe continues to receive high level visits from different countries.

“The two countries have strong cooperation in the political, economic, education, transport and agriculture sectors,” Mugejo said.
