Zimbabwe Cricket's growing international appeal has received another major boost after FanCode and Zee Entertainment Enterprises secured broadcasting rights for India's tour of Zimbabwe, a development expected to take one of the country's biggest cricket events to millions of viewers across the world.
The announcement comes as Zimbabwe's cricket brand continues to gain visibility internationally, with India set to play three Twenty20 Internationals at Harare Sports Club on July 23, 25 and 26.
Under the agreement, FanCode will livestream all three matches exclusively to audiences in India, while Zee Entertainment Enterprises will broadcast the series through its newly launched Unite8 Sports Channels.
The partnership is expected to significantly increase global exposure for Zimbabwean cricket and further strengthen the country's reputation as a host of major international sporting events.
Zimbabwe Cricket chairman Tavengwa Mukuhlani said India's visit remained one of the most anticipated fixtures on the country's cricket calendar.
“Welcoming India to Zimbabwe is always a special occasion, and this tour promises to be even bigger with the broadcast reach that ‘Z’ and FanCode bring together,” he said.
“We have been working with FanCode for a while and are delighted to continue that partnership for this marquee series.
“Having ‘Unite8 Sports’ on board as a TV broadcaster is a testament to the growing appetite for Zimbabwean cricket. We expect packed stadiums and full screens.”
The deal is expected to place Zimbabwean cricket before one of the world's largest sporting audiences, particularly in India, where cricket enjoys enormous popularity.
FanCode co-founder Yannick Colaco said the platform was committed to bringing the game closer to fans.

The broadcast announcement comes at a time when Zimbabwe's national cricket structures are actively developing talent at various levels.
Meanwhile, Zimbabwe A's preparations suffered a setback in Bangladesh after the second List A match against Bangladesh Emerging was abandoned due to wet weather in Rajshahi.
The washout means Bangladesh Emerging retain a 1-0 lead in the three-match series heading into Saturday's final encounter at Rajshahi Divisional Stadium.
While Zimbabwe A battle to level the series in Bangladesh, attention is increasingly turning to Harare, where India's arrival next month is expected to attract substantial crowds, international media attention and significant global viewership.
