Two siblings have appeared before the Harare Magistrates' Court facing charges of unlawfully dealing in dangerous drugs after police allegedly recovered cocaine and 100 grams of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of US$1,000.
Chris Kajasi (38) and his sister, Constance Kajasi, are accused of working together to sell illicit drugs.
According to the State, detectives arrested Chris at around 1am on July 10, 2026, after he was implicated in a separate case involving possession of a sachet of cocaine.
During questioning, prosecutors allege Chris implicated Constance as his supplier and claimed they were jointly involved in dealing dangerous drugs.

Acting on the information, detectives proceeded to Constance's residence, where they informed her of the purpose of their visit.
The State alleges Constance went into her bedroom and returned carrying an opened oats box containing a large sachet of suspected methamphetamine.
She was immediately arrested and taken to the CID Drugs and Narcotics Unit in Harare.
The court heard that preliminary field tests conducted in the presence of both accused tested positive for methamphetamine.
Police weighed the recovered substance at 100 grams and estimated its street value at US$1,000.
The matter remains before the courts.
