Sodomise friend and get rich, sangoma tells Bindura man

A 40-year-old Bindura man, Enerst Denhere Chiheya , in a desperate move to make money, following advice from a traditional healer, sodomised his friend.

Chiheya appeared before magistrate Samantha Dhlamini facing sodomy charges.

Prosecuting, Victoria Choga alleged that on January 7 at Saimona Farm, Bindura around 23:00 hours, Chiheya was caught sodomising his friend by an informant who alerted neighbours.

A police report was filed, leading to his arrest.

Chiheya argued in his defence that he was advised by a traditional healer to sodomise so that he gets wealth.

“Your Worship, it was not my intention to commit this crime but l was advised by a traditional healer that if l do that l will get richer,” Chaheya said.

The trial continues on February 13.
