National airline Air Zimbabwe was yesterday forced to pull down an advert following outrage from social media users who accused the company of running an insensitive advertisement.
The advert, with the wording: “Riddle: A plane crashes directly on the border of Zimbabwe and South Africa. Where do they bury the survivors?” did not go down well with social media users.
They criticised Air Zim, accusing it of scaring them with an insensitive advert when it has a reputation of faulty planes which usually do emergency landings.
Air Zim pulled down the advert later after the social media outrage.
