Former Zimbabwe international Tafadzwa Rusike is back at CAPS United, training with the club with the hope of securing a third stint with the 2016 champions.
Rusike, who left CAPS United in 2017 for Zambian Super League side Zanaco, has been without a team since being released by Zesco United at the expiry of his contract in December 2021.
The midfielder, who also played in South Africa for Ajax Cape Town, nearly joined Buildcon in Zambia last year but an injury affected the deal, forcing him to return home to recuperate.
Meanwhile, former Dynamos, Ngezi Platinum Stars and Manica Diamonds winger Tichaona Mabvura is also being assessed at CAPS United, together with Rusike.
CAPS United have added the experienced trio of Godknows Murwira, Kelvin Madzongwe, Adrian Silla as well as Innocent Zambezi and Admiral Matope to their squad ahead of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League 2023 season, which begins next month.
