The separation of Bona Mugabe with husband Simba Chikore is good tidings as the two never deserved each other from the beginning according to Norton legislator Temba Mliswa. The MP, a father of 18, is himself a single parent.
Mliswa, who first had the chance to meet with the late President Mugabe’s daughter during a meeting with the former at the family’s rural Zvimba home, described Bona as a model for the girl child, adding Chikore’s entry into her life was just for personal gain.
Arguing Bona deserves a life in peace, Mliswa said:
“The separation of Bona from Simba Chikore is actually good news for her. That guy wasn’t good for her and didn’t deserve her. She is a model for the girl child, calm, unassuming and handles herself well. She deserves a life in peace.”
Turning to Chikore’s motive for marrying Bona, Mliswa had no kind words for the hubby.
“The guy was out for dodgy business deals, associating with the First Family only and name-dropping for personal aggrandizement. You can’t hold on to such. You will be well Mangwenya. I liked you from the day I met you at a meeting with President Mugabe in Zvimba.
“You came across as a level headed person. I will forever respect you and pray for you. Your life can still go on. Be strong,” said Mliswa.
