Yadah players to get US$1 000 for every goal?

Prominent gold buyer Scott Sakupwanya has made Yadah FC players smile all the way to the bank following the winning bonus payments they received after their match against Greenfuel.

Yadah FC players received at least US$500 as winning bonus and Sakupwanya has promised a hefty allowance per every goal scored by the club.

Sources told Zim Now that for every goal scored, Sakupwanya will pay at least US$1 000 although it is not clear if the US$1 000 will be shared or each player will receive US$1 000.

“We have received our winning bonus against Greenfuel and Boss Scott has promised that going forward, for every goal we score he will pay US$1 000,” a source told Zim Now.

Efforts to get a comment from Sakupwanya proved fruitless as his mobile phone was not answered. However, Zim Now contacted Cuthbert Chitima, who is believed to have brokered the deal for Sakupwanya to take over the club.

Chitima refuted the claims that the players have been promised that hefty allowance.

“I haven’t heard about that, if it was true I could have known,” Chitima told Zim Now.

Zim Now contacted several Yadah FC members who confirmed that they had received the money.

Yadah FC is currently in camp ahead of their league game against Simba Bhora this afternoon.
