It is now confirmed that AFC Bournemouth defender Jordan Zemura will be moving to Serie A side Udinese this summer when his contract with the former expires. He is moving on a four-year contract.

In a statement, Udinese FC who lie 10th on the log standings posted:

"Udinese Calcio is pleased to announce the signing of footballer Jordan Zemura.

"The defender will strengthen the squad starting from the 2023/2024 football season and has signed a contract that binds him to the club until 30 June 2027.

"Zemura, therefore, will end the season at Bournemouth in the Premier League."

Previously, Zemura had been linked with a Premier League move with Crystal Palace and West Ham United, as well as some interest from Aston Villa, Leeds United and Newcastle United.

He has been left out of the matchday squad over the last five fixtures as a result of an internal decision. It soon emerged that the full-back and his representatives had failed to engage with the club despite a new deal being offered.
