Seasoned gospel musician and producer Amos Mahendere gave a spirited performance at Prophet Kempton Mugova’s Moments of Worship International Church which’s recent Greater Works Conference.
It was, however, Mahendere’s polished performance that gave worshippers moments to remember.
The energy that he has always been known for both in the singing and dance moves took worshippers down memory lane to the days of the Mahendere Brothers of old.
Mahendere played his tracks, which include Pedyo Nemi Mwari, Garai Neni, Mighty God, Rejoice in the Lord, Upenyu Hwepanyika, Rudimbwa, Serendipity and he closed with Psalms 23.
After the show Mahendere spoke of his presence at the conference, saying:
“I’m here to support the body is of Christ, which has different forms. Prophet Mugova is the body of Christ. Personally, I was called by God but I was called for evangelism. I fish men as an evangelist and deliver them to Prophet Mugova.
“I’m not an independent pastor. I trained as an evangelist at Bible School and I can even go to a bar and tell people who will be drinking to stop the habit and actually get them to leave drinking through the word after telling them to receive Jesus.
“Although I go to UFIC, I do my evangelism outside the UFIC.
The Prophet Mugova-led church has grown in leaps and bounds over the years and holds several deliverance as well as healing sessions at the church throughout the year.
He is gifted in giving people directions through his accurate prophecies and deliverances.
Amos Mahendere was part of the famous Mahendere Brothers which comprised Michael, Akim, Misheck and himself before he went solo.
