Jah Prayzah and Grammy Award winning international reggae outfit, Morgan Heritage have collaborated in the yesteryear hit song “Maria.”

This collaboration is not the first time Jah Prayzah has worked with internationally renowned musicians, having previously roped in the likes of Jah Cure, Mafikizolo, Yemi Alade, Diamond Platinumz and Makhadzi, among others.

“Maria” is a beautiful blend of reggae and traditional Zimbabwean rhythms that showcases the talents of both Jah Prayzah and Morgan Heritage. The song’s title, “Maria,” is a reference to the Virgin Mary, and the lyrics encourage people to seek her guidance in times of need. The collaboration is a testament to the power of music in bringing people from different cultures together.

Morgan Heritage has been making music for over two decades. The band consists of siblings Peter, Una, and Gramps Morgan, and they are known for their unique sound that blends reggae, soul, and R&B.

Their collaboration with Jah Prayzah is not the first time they have worked with African musicians. In 2017, they released “Africa We Seh” with Ghanaian artist Stonebwoy.

This collaboration is an act of excellence by both the artist as Jah Prayzah continue to prove his touch of gold. He is also expected to release two albums in two days next month.
