Singer and songwriter Takura Shonhai told Zim Now that he was surprised to read that he is involved in the production of the FIFA World 23 sound track Dont be Scared.
The Haarore hitmaker has been confused with namesake Takura Tendayi, another musician of Zimbabwean origin but based in the United Kingdom, who is to be featured on the FIFA 23 soundtrack.
Takura features on a new song with Trevor Dongo titled Love Story (Part 1) a few weeks after he dropped his hit track Goosebumps.
Shonhai said he is surprised that both the public and the media have not realized the gaffe.

This comes a few weeks after Takura dropped his hit track Goosebumps.
The FIFA song Don’t be Scared is by Chase and Status from the United Kingdom (UK) and features Takura Tendayi who, as earlier reported on this portal, is also based in the UK.
The English electronic music duo - is among the songs listed on the FIFA 23 Soundtrack.
Last week, the official FIFA 23 soundtrack was finally revealed and EA Sports delivered a global playlist comprised of songs from various artists hailing from different parts of the world.
They included Tendayi, who represented Zimbabwe with the song Don’t be Scared.
The musician joins other global artists picked from 34 countries who sang 109 songs on the soundtrack.
Don’t be Scared was initially released as the lead single for Chase and Status’ 6th studio album titled What Came Before - along with accompanying visuals - on March 14 March, 2022.
Other Zimbabweans whose music has been featured globally include Takudzwa Maidza (a.k.a. Tkay Maidza) and Tinashe Sibanda.
