Reigning Premier Netball League champions Platinum Queens are proving to be a powerhouse as their winning streak continues and have been at the helm of the log since Match Day One.

They are at the summit of table, courtesy of a superior goal difference (39) over fierce rivals, fellow platinum miners Ngezi Queens as they are all tied on 34 points.

Platinum Queens have played 18 games and only lost one the same as Ngezi.

They played four games on Saturday and won all four. They walloped Harare City 40/ 14, beat Filchrist ZJC 56/11 then won 59/14 against City Angels before dismantling Espandables 64/8.

The four wins cemented their position at the summit of the table and put the team on course for third consecutive title on the bounce.

Platinum Queens coach, Simbarashe Mlambo said he is happy with the outcome and hopes for more positive results.

“The family is intact and I cannot complain, although we need to tighten a few screws and make sure that they continue winning and have the right frame of mind,” he said.
