The Blue Roof Grill and Bar at Damview will tomorrow host the All Africa Pool Association National Team Qualifiers for Chitungwiza Province with both men and ladies’ teams taking part.
Event organiser, Chantelle Marawanyika said they are expecting a large turnout from pool lovers
“We are expecting many teams to take part although only six have registered so far. We are looking forward to others registering on the day.
“Blue Roof is the venue to be for pool tournaments because we have got the tables and we have the space. We are actually warming up for the possibility of hosting national pool competitions,” said Marawanyika.
Damview, Marawanyika said, has the capacity to host large numbers given the conducive environment with both outdoor and indoor facilities.
“Blue roof promises a memorable experience as the after-party will be real fireworks,” she said.
Meanwhile, Damview will also host Chapter 8 of the Sunshine Ladies Fortnight Tournament on Sunday.
“The Sunshine Ladies Fortnight Tournament slated for Sunday is an opportunity for the ladies to rule in a male-dominated event. The response from the ladies is exciting and shows just the kind of zeal they have in taking the stand on the day,” she added.
Damview is located to the left along Seke Road adjacent Guzha Shopping Centre, popularly known as Chikwanha, in Chitungwiza.
