In an apparent endorsement of it as a sporting venue of choice, Damview’s Blue Roof Grill and Bar at Damview will on Saturday the All-Africa Pool Association National Qualifiers.
The games start in the morning.
This comes as the joint successfully hosted the Chitungwiza provincial qualifiers two weeks back. The winners of those qualifiers will be battling for a place in the nationals.
Event organiser, Chantelle Marawanyika told Zim Now that the Tobacco Gold Leaf-sponsored sports extravaganza will bring together the crème de la crème of Zimbabwean pool.
“After the qualifiers we are looking forward to hosting the nationals and those who qualify will proceed to the nationals,” said Marawanyika.
Marawanyika added that Blue Roof is the venue to be for pool tournaments because they have the tables and the space to accommodate as many patrons as possible.
Damview, Marawanyika said, has the capacity to host large numbers given the conducive environment with both outdoor and indoor facilities.
“Blue Roof promises a memorable experience to those who will be with us this Saturday as we host the AAPA national qualifiers,” she said.
Damview is located to the left along Seke Road adjacent Guzha Shopping Centre, popularly known as Chikwanha, in Chitungwiza.
