The Victoria Falls International Agricultural Show says it is eyeing international exhibitors and the construction of a permanent home in the resort city.

At least 35 exhibitors are participating at this year’s edition of the annual Victoria Falls International Agricultural Show which kicked off this Friday and was expected to have ended Saturday in the resort city.

The show, which among other things will be pushing rural industrialisation, has attracted exhibitors from the various sectors of the economy including telecoms, academic, government departments and others.

Victoria Falls Agricultural Show Manager Mr Tendai Moyo is upbeat about a successful exhibition and attracting more exhibitors next year.

"We are excited about the business we received this year. Our exhibitors did not change much from last year. What is more interesting is that we have received several enquiries from exhibitors from neighbouring countries such as Botswana and Zambia. This is encouraging and to support this anticipated growth in busiest we have set a plan in motion to construct a permanent exhibition park in Victoria Falls," he said.

The Show, according to exhibitors, is a great way of marketing their products

For the children, it was time for fun.

Victoria Falls is well positioned for regional and international trade as it has direct links with three countries; Botswana, Zambia and Namibia.
