The sentence of three men, who were part of the group which allegedly robbed US$2.7 million and $43 000 from a ZB Bank cash-in-transit vehicle in 2021, has been set for Monday.

Shadreck Njowa, 55, Tendai Zuze, 35, Neverson Mwamuka, 35, will have to hear their fate on October 2, while Trymore Chapfika, 36, Tozivepi Chirara, 28, Dennis Madondo, 30, and Tatenda Gadzikwa, 39, have been acquitted after the court said they was no direct evidence linking them to the crime.

They will appear before magistrate Clever Tsikwa at the Harare Magistrates’ Courts.
