Sungura star, Romeo Gasa, has expressed gratitude after being appointed Zimbabwe Young Influencers Mashonaland West Chapter Chairperson of Young Influencers.
In a Facebook post, Zimbabwe Young Influencers Mashonaland West, appreciated the work Gasa had done in building his career and brand in the music industry.
“Romeo is one of the finest sungura artistes and a great influencer in his own right. We believe he will work hard and lead fellow influencers in his province,” they said.
The sungura prodigy said he was happy for the acknowledgement and will work to ensure that the community see a change through his leadership.
He said he was also going to learn many things in process as he will be working with people from different backgrounds.
“It is a great honour, but it’s a responsibility because working people is also difficult.
“Having such a role gives me a sense of recognition in society,” he said.
He added that he was going to use his role in the society to scout for new talent.
“Part of my role is to encourage the youth to uplift our country, economy and everything through projects ideas and at the same time looking for new talent and helping the struggling,” he added.
