20-year-old woman on the run over aggravated indecent assault

A 20-year-old woman, Diana Nyanyaza, is on the run after committing a crime of aggravated indecent assault for sexually abusing a nine-year-old male juvenile in September 2023 in Chivhu.

Police are appealing for any information which may led to her arrest,

“The ZRP is appealing for information which may lead to the arrest of Diana Nyanyaza, 20, who is being sought in connection with a case of Aggravated Indecent Assault for sexually abusing a male juvenile, 9, in September 2023 in Chivhu.”

Nyanyaza’s last known address is 1678 Westwood, Chivhu.

Meanwhile in Harare, Tapiwa Nyahumbane, 23, stabbed Clayton Nyamupenzi, 25, to death with a kitchen knife on the chest and palms following a scuffle on Sunday midnight at the intersection of 7th and 4th Street, Dzivaresekwa.

Police confirmed the case on X wall.

“The victim, Clayton Nyamupenzi, 25, died after being stabbed with a kitchen knife on the chest and palms following a scuffle. The suspect had demanded to know the reason why the victim was no longer buying him beer.”

Police are appealing for information which may assist in identifying the body of an unknown male adult who was found dead in the drain along Sande Crescent, Graniteside on Monday.

The victim was found with multiple injuries all over the body.

In Chiredzi, police have arrested Munashe Kurima, 27, and John Kichini, 19, for poaching at Masasapi area, Humani.

The two suspects were found skinning a Zebra, valued at US$2 000, at a homestead in Village 4, Masasapi, Gudo on Tuesday.

Police in Harare are investigating a fire incident in which four fuel tankers and a bus were burnt to shells at Matozi Garage along 344 Budgetway Close, Willowvale on Tuesday at around 1900 hours.

Investigations carried out so far by the police have established that the garage was being used for illegal fuel dealings. It is suspected that the fire broke out while the fuel dealers were siphoning fuel from one of the tankers.
