Malawian Prophet Sherpherd Bushiri has refuted news of his prophecy, claiming that Zimbabwean opposition leader Nelson Chamisa has three months to live.

This comes as social media was awash with reports of Bushiri prophesying the death of Chamisa during a Sunday morning service at his church base in Malawi, giving him only three months before he meets his maker.

In a statement on Facebook, Bushiri refuted the claims noting that a certain news channel has been disseminating falsehoods to which the church leader referred to as blatant lie.

“The prophet never made any prophecy regarding Zimbabwe as a country let alone about any citizen from the same country,” Bushiri wrote.

He went on to clarify that the said morning to which the prophecy is said to have been uttered, there were people in attendance and can witness that such was never said.

“Those who followed live and attended the Grand Entrance Service on Sunday 14 January, 2024, will agree with us that the prophecy in question wasn’t uttered,” Bushiri added.

Meanwhile in a thread posted on X, CCC leader Nelson Chamisa appeared to comment on the issue by noting that people wish death on others and in their minds they desire death.

“They wish you death everyday. Your death, real or imagined is their last weapon to get rid of you. But then, God is faithful. You survive daily,” Chamisa wrote.
