A dark cloud seems to be hovering over the journalism fraternity following the passing of yet another journalist, Hector Murombedzi.
ZBC staffer Murombedzi’s death comes less than two weeks after the passing of Bridget Sibanda Madzimure.
In a statement, ZBC said Murombedzi, who was 53, passed on Monday afternoon.
A seasoned journalist, Murombedzi Joined ZBC in 1997 as a cameraperson and later became sub-editor on the radio news.
He was later appointed Mashonaland Central Province Bureau Chief and then became radio news desk sub-editor until his passing on.
Murombedzi is survived by a wife, Joyce, and two children.
Burial arrangements will announced in due course.
