A Glen Lorne woman, whose video went viral on social media mocking Adela Contracting, has appeared in court.
Sandra Mazvita Pamberi, 46, of Glen Lorne, Harare, appeared before magistrate Apolonia Marutya at the Harare Magistrates’ Courts accused of cyber bullying.
The State, through prosecutor Rufaro Chonzi, alleges that on January 2024, Pamberi recorded in video using her phone and on the video she was saying people should not buy from Adela Contracting because they were pumping sewage water and posted it on social media platforms, including Facebook.
The State alleges that by posting the false data, Pamberi wanted the information to be broadcast, intending to cause financial harm to Adela Contracting.
She was ordered to deposit US$100 as bail and will appear in court on January 26.
