Munetsi makes history for Stade de Reims with goal against PSG

Zimbabwean midfielder Marshall Munetsi etched his name into Stade de Reims’ history books on Sunday after scoring a crucial goal in their 2-2 draw against Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain.

Munetsi opened the scoring for Reims in just the 6th minute, capitalising on a defensive error from PSG to slot the ball home from close range. This important goal not only gave Reims a dream start against the Ligue 1 leaders but also marked a significant achievement for the midfielder.

With his strike against PSG, Munetsi climbed to number four on Stade de Reims’ list of top scorers in Ligue 1 for the 21st century, boasting an impressive record of 16 goals. He’s  added to that impressive tally with four assists this season, bringing his total goal contributions to eight.
