Zimbabwe Women Super League clubs have passed a vote of no confidence on their executive board led by Barbara Chikosi.

In a letter signed by many clubs in the ZWSL, the executive board is being accused of implementing decisions without considering them and are failing to hold regular meetings with clubs.

The various clubs also accused the board of being authoritarian.

“Failure to provide league constitution, rules and regulations for the league since we elected you into office, stagnant league growth that lack improvement in viewership and sponsorship deals for the league and lack of transparency in decision making: Important choices made without consulting clubs.

“The board disregards suggestions and implement decisions without considerations and failure to do regular meetings with clubs.

“Over and above all your term of the office has lapsed,” reads the letter.

The clubs that signed the letter include Black Mambas Queens, Black Rhinos Queens, FC Platinum Royals, Correctional Queens FC, ZRP Harare Queens, and Maningi Queens among others.
