Zimbabwe Cricket has turned the page on a new chapter, announcing a vibrant 15-man squad for their upcoming tour to Bangladesh.

This thrilling T20I series, a five-match spectacle set for May, promises sparks to fly.

Leading the charge is the indomitable Sikandar Raza, a name synonymous with cricketing prowess. Under his steady captaincy, the team boasts a potent mix of experience and youthful exuberance.

Johnathan Campbell, a rising star yet to grace the international stage, finds himself included, his talent undeniable. Tadiwanashe Marumani and Faraz Akram, seasoned campaigners, make their well-deserved return to the fold.

The remaining players are veterans, their names etched in the annals of Zimbabwean cricket. Craig Ervine and Sean Williams bring years of experience, their skills honed to a razor’s edge.

The express pace of Richard Ngarava and Blessing Muzarabani will be a force to be reckoned with, while the youthful energy of Clive Madande and Brian Bennett promises a refreshing dose of dynamism.

These youngsters, along with Campbell, were instrumental in the Zimbabwe emerging men’s team's glorious triumph at the 13th African Games in Ghana. Their golden touch is a testament to their burgeoning talent, and they are poised to make their mark on the international stage.

With a new head coach yet to be appointed, the capable Stuart Matsikenyeri will take the reins for the Bangladesh series.

His experience and tactical acumen will be invaluable as Zimbabwe seeks to conquer Bangladeshi soil.

The scene is set for an enthralling encounter. The first three T20Is will be a battle royale in Chattogram, played on the 3rd, 5th, and 7th of May. The series then culminates in a dramatic finale in Dhaka, with matches scheduled for the 10th and 12th of May
