A Harare man, who was allegedly given money in exchange for a Facebook page and disappeared, has been taken to court.
Kudakwashe Rashman, 29, of Ashdown Park, appeared at the Harare Magistrates’ Courts charged with fraud.
He was remanded in custody.
The complainant in this matter is Danai Nyateka, 35.
The State alleges that on April 10, at around 1300 hours, at Office 18, Batanai Gardens in the Harare CBD, Nyateka gave Rashman US$400 so that he could sell him a Facebook page and was supposed to do it the same day, but after receiving the money, he became evasive.
Nyateka then made a plan to trap Rashman and managed to get him arrested on April 26.
