M.G Hkh, born Prince Peter Moyo, isn’t your average rapper.

He’s a storyteller, a weaver of words that paint vivid pictures of life in Zimbabwe, specifically his hometown of Budiriro.

His music video for No Pressure, featuring Mandala Jecha Mafia, is a testament to this.

Shot in the streets, “He knows best”, it’s a raw and captivating glimpse into his world.

Hailing from Masvingo’s Chivi District, M.G Hkh’s journey began in 2019.

Fuelled by the struggles and triumphs of everyday life, his lyrics resonate with the underprivileged dream chaser in all of us.

He finds inspiration in American rapper Rod Wave, another artist whose music reflects the power of dedication and hard work. No Pressure is a powerful anthem of resilience.

The repeated line “No pressure hazvidi, Dzungu zvichaita bhoo” translates to “No pressure won’t break me, the noise will just turn into dust.”

It’s a declaration of independence, a refusal to be bowed by external forces.

But M.G Hkh goes deeper. His verses explore themes of staying true to oneself and resisting negative influences.

He warns against selling one’s soul and acknowledges the ever-present temptation of deceit. This is where the struggle between ambition and integrity unfolds.

Despite the challenges, the song pulsates with an unwavering belief in hard work, prayer, and achieving one's dreams.

The lines “I will never return back” and “I will never stop praying” echo throughout, a testament to his unwavering determination.
