A 34-year-old Gokwe man has been arrested in relation to the murder of Kadoma cricketer Scott Blessing Kamwise.
According to reports, the alleged killer, Jimmy Kambiyata of Muzvuvagumbo Village, Gokwe suspected Kamwise was having an affair with his girlfriend and the accused is alleged to have used a mobile phone to lur3 the deceased to meet as he held suspicions of the affair.
Kamwise was fatally stabbed in the back and neck with a knife and all his belongings were on the scene of the crime, untouched which led to critics and authorities suggesting it was not a r0bbery.
Kambiyata has been remanded in custody up to June 24, 2024.
