A 19-year-old man has been denied bail after he allegedly sodomised his older brother's 6-year-old son.
Tinashe Sanyabako, 19, of Southlea Park, Waterfalls, appeared at the Harare Magistrates' Courts charged with Aggravated Indecent Assault.
The State alleges that on June 28, 2024, at around 2100 hours, the complainant was sleeping with Sanyabako in the same room.
The court heard that he removed the complainant's trousers and started rubbing his manhood on the complainant's manhood and went on to insert his manhood on the complainant's back.
The complainant screamed and his mother came into the room but the complainant did not tell the mother what the problem was.
The court heard that on June 29, 2024, at around 1500 hours, the complainant narrated the story of abuse to his mother and she made a police report.
He was advised to apply for bail at the High Court and will appear in court on July 16, 2024.
