Wife Takes Hubby To Court For Using Her Clothes As Toilet Paper

Zim Now Writer

A Harare man, Ernest Musawa who is husband to Rudo Takalumusi, appeared at the Harare  Civil court for allegedly using his wife’s clothes as toilet paper, a habit his wife says has been persistent.

Takalumasi revealed her husband’s bad habits while seeking for a protection order against Musawa.

In her revelations, Takalumasi stated, “He takes my clothes to wipe off his mess after using the bathroom. He is in the habit of urinating on my clothes and he threatens to kill me…”

However, Musawa denied the allegations made by his wife, arguing that she actually is the one that throws her own clothes in the bucket of urine, she uses at night.

“I have never used my wife’s clothes as tissues and I think she takes her own clothes and throws them in the bucket where she urinates at night. I once saw her clothes in that bucket of urine,” he said.

Presiding, magistrate Meenal Naratom ruled in favour of Rudo and granted her the peace order request.

However, she also ordered the couple to sort out their differences amicably.
