Zimbabwean football coach Samkeliso Paradzai Ncube has made a significant impact in the United States, guiding North Star FC Juniors to a triumphant victory in the United Premier Soccer League  East Cup. After a nail-biting final against Atlanta City, Ncube and his team emerged victorious, showcasing their exceptional skills and determination.

In an interview with Zim Now, Coach Ncube expressed his deep gratitude for the support he has received. "Firstly I want to give thanks to the Almighty Lord and I want to thank my wife for being there for me...It means a lot for me and the boys," he said. He also commended the hard work and dedication of his players, stating, "The boys fought from the first whistle to the last whistle. We had to show some good teamwork."

The UPSL East Cup victory marks a major milestone in Ncube's career, but he remains focused on achieving even greater heights. "Now we are preparing for the 4 season, which is gonna be a tough season again..." he noted.

Ncube's dream is to contribute to the growth of Zimbabwean football and inspire other coaches to pursue their ambitions. "I'm hoping to get a spot in the national team," he said.

"For the coaches who are outside and those who are back home, I urge them that we need to keep our heads up. We need to dream big."

His ambition extends beyond the US, as Ncube hopes to use his talents and experience to make a positive impact on the world of football, both in the US and back home in Zimbabwe. "One thing that I put first is to come back to Zimbabwe and be part of the Zimbabwe national team setup, and my quest is still there and still want to see Zimbabwe growing," he said.
