Dynamos secured their place in the quarterfinals of the Chibuku Super Cup with a resounding 3-1 victory over ZPC Kariba at Rufaro Stadium on Wednesday. The win keeps alive the Glamour Boys' hopes of defending their title, which they clinched for the first time last season.
A disappointing crowd turnout marred the midweek encounter, likely due to the timing of the match. However, Dynamos' performance on the pitch was anything but underwhelming. Donald Mudadi opened the scoring in the 13th minute before turning provider for Emmanuel Paga and Nomore Chinyerere, who added to the tally in the 19th and 55th minutes, respectively.
ZPC Kariba managed a consolation goal through Nyasha Gurende in the 88th minute, but it was too little, too late. Mudadi's standout performance was instrumental in Dynamos' dominant display.
