Dynamos captain Frank Makarati and teammate Tendai Magwaza were involved in a car accident on Monday night, but fortunately, escaped with minor injuries.
The pair was returning home to Chitungwiza after competing in the CAF Confederation Cup in Botswana when their Ford Ranger vehicle collided head-on with another vehicle. Both players were admitted to Harare Hospital for observation but were later discharged.
Following the accident, Dynamos' Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match against Chicken Inn, initially scheduled for Wednesday, has been postponed to allow the team to recover from their Confederation Cup encounter against Orapa United in Francistown, Botswana.
The postponement will provide Dembare players with valuable rest time before resuming league action.
