A pulsating four-goal thriller unfolded at Rufaro Stadium yesterday as CAPS United and Bulawayo Chiefs played out a dramatic draw. The match, filled with end-to-end action, showcased the attacking prowess of both teams.

Bulawayo Chiefs opened the scoring early on through a stunning free-kick from Lucky Ndlela, which caught CAPS United goalkeeper Ashley Reyners off guard. However, the Green Machine quickly responded, with Kingsley Mureremba leveling the score and later assisting Phineas Bhamusi to put his side ahead.

A costly error from Reyners allowed Tadiwa Muchenje to equalize for Bulawayo Chiefs, ensuring a thrilling first half. Despite several more chances for both teams, the scoreline remained unchanged in the second half.

CAPS United coach Lloyd Chitembwe expressed his disappointment with the draw, attributing it to a drop in performance in the second half. Bulawayo Chiefs coach Thulani Sibanda, on the other hand, was pleased to secure a point away from home.

The draw leaves CAPS United in sixth place on the league standings, while Bulawayo Chiefs moved three points above the relegation zone.
