Karoi United FC has been dealt a heavy blow by the Northern Region Soccer League following their involvement in a match abandonment. The league's disciplinary committee, in a scathing judgment, found the club culpable for failing to ensure adequate security and control over their fans.

A key excerpt from the judgment reads:

"That KAROI FC is one of the oldest clubs in the league. That it had the responsibility to ensure adequate security. That accused had an obligation to manage its fans but failed."

As a result of this misconduct, Karoi United has been forced to forfeit the match to their opponents, Scotland FC, with a 3-0 scoreline. The club has also been fined an undisclosed amount.
