The Zimbabwe Republic Police is seeking information to aid in the investigation of a violent armed robbery that occurred on November 3, 2024, at Pircy Farm in Goromonzi.

In a statement National Police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi said six unidentified male suspects armed with machetes and pistols forced their way into the farm by cutting the fence at the rear.

“The suspects reportedly entered the kitchen through an unlocked door before confronting and attacking the farm owners. They made away with US$3 000 in cash, a variety of other items including speakers, three cellphones, laptops, jewelry, and three firearms,” Commissioner Nyathi said.

The stolen firearms—a pellet gun and two short guns—were later found abandoned at the farm's backyard. CCTV footage captured images of the suspects' faces and clothing, which could potentially help identify them.

The ZRP has requested anyone with information on the incident to contact the National Complaints Desk at (0242) 70 3631 or through WhatsApp at 0712 800 197. Additionally, information can be shared at any nearby police station.
