Marriot denies ordering player axings in Dynamos saga

Dynamos board chair Lusengo acquitted on fraud charges

Bernard Marriot, the Dynamos Board Chairman, has categorically denied reports that he instructed coaches to drop key players, including Freddy Aleck, Nomore Chinyerere, Tendai Magwaza, and Vusa Ngwenya. Marriot dismissed the allegations, stating, "I do not interfere with what coaches and executives do. I didn't give an order to fire anyone; that is the duty of coaches and executives".

The denial comes amidst a strike by Dynamos players, who refused to train at Glamis Arena this morning due to outstanding dues. The strike could not have come at a worse time, as DeMbare prepares to host Simba Bhora in the Castle Lager Challenge Cup at Rufaro Stadium later this month.
