A 33-year-old man appeared in court for allegedly breaking into a house, eating food, and stealing various items before leaving.
Hardson Pira was arraigned before the Harare Magistrates' Courts facing charges of unlawful entry in aggravating circumstances.
According to the State, on February 9, at around 10:00 AM, the complainant secured her home before leaving. Pira allegedly forced entry using an unidentified object.
Once inside, he reportedly consumed the available food before stealing two decoders, an Itel phone, a jacket, two pairs of men’s trousers, a boxer short, and a pair of school shoes. He then fled the scene.
The court is expected to make a ruling on the matter.
