The Zimbabwe Republic Police has arrested a 21-year-old man, Gamuchirayi Maphosa, for unlawfully dealing in precious minerals in violation of the Precious Stones Trade Act, Chapter 21:06.
Maphosa was apprehended at Chisase Business Centre in Triangle after being found in possession of nine pieces of diamonds.
Authorities suspect the precious stones were intended for the black market, as the suspect had no legal documentation permitting him to trade in minerals.
