Zimbabwean hip-hop artist Holy Ten has made explosive allegations against church leader Uebert Angel, calling him a "prostitute" and claiming that the preacher had been asking him for girlfriends.
Holy Ten, known for his bold approach, shared in a recent statement that Uebert Angel had asked him for women, even sending one from South Africa at the preacher's request.
"Angel has been asking me for girlfriends, and I even sent him one from South Africa," Holy Ten alleged, sparking further controversy.
The rapper went on to label Angel a "prostitute" and expressed his disappointment with the relationship, stating that things soured when the preacher blocked him. Holy Ten also claimed that Angel rejected all the women he sent, and dismissed him for not knowing how to make money.
“If he wants to report me for defamation, he can go ahead, but I have evidence that will prove him to be even more of a prostitute," the rapper added, suggesting a deeper rift between the two.
In an even bolder statement, Holy Ten questioned the integrity of religious figures, implying that their actions behind the scenes may not align with the teachings they preach.
He recalled an incident with fellow musician Mudiwa, who allegedly showed him a gun and condoms from his bag while in church, hinting at a readiness for situations that conflicted with the image of spirituality.
"I used to watch Uebert Angel’s sermons, but after this, I decided to stop. Some people give offerings because they trust you, not knowing what happens behind their backs," Holy Ten said, adding to the controversy.
