Seven PSL Stars Suspended for Matchday Nine

Seven players will miss action in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League’s Matchday Nine fixtures, scheduled for April 30 and May 1, 2025, after receiving automatic suspensions for accumulating more than two yellow cards.

The suspensions come at a critical juncture in the season, as teams push for momentum and valuable points in what is shaping up to be a competitive campaign.

Among those sidelined is Hagiazo Magaya of FC Platinum, who will miss a high-stakes showdown against CAPS United at Rufaro Stadium. Yadah FC will also be without Marvellous Faranando in their clash with Ngezi Platinum Stars at Baobab Stadium, a fixture expected to be tightly contested.

Greenfuel FC’s Colins Mujuru will sit out the team’s home tie against Dynamos FC at Greenfuel Arena, while Collen Mleya of ZPC Kariba is suspended for their away match against Triangle United at Gibbo Stadium.

TelOne FC defender Frank Makarati is also out due to suspension, ruling him out of the team’s encounter with Chicken Inn at Luveve Stadium.

Highlanders FC, who are set to host Bikita Minerals at Barbourfields Stadium, will have to do without the services of two key players—Melikhaya Ncube and Mason Mushore. The absence of the duo presents a challenge to the Bulawayo giants, testing both their depth and tactical adaptability.
