One of the country’s leading security services providers, Securico, recently hosted its much-anticipated Annual Awards Ceremony and Family Fun Day, marking another milestone in its journey of recognising excellence, loyalty, and community spirit within the organisation.
The event brought together staff, families, and distinguished guests for a day packed with celebration, sports, and heartfelt recognition. The highlight of the day was the honouring of 241 exceptional employees who have dedicated 10, 15, 20, and 25 years of service to SECURICO—a powerful testament to the company’s culture of commitment and the enduring bonds it fosters among its people.
In a moving address, the company’s Managing Director, Dr. Divine Simbi-Ndhlukula, announced a ground-breaking new housing loan initiative for employees who have served the company for over 20 years.
“These individuals have played a pivotal role in our success, and it is only fitting that we reward their sacrifices with the opportunity to build a secure future for themselves,” she said, her words met with enthusiastic applause.
The day was filled with camaraderie as staff and their families enjoyed friendly competitions in netball, volleyball, soccer, and athletics—an embodiment of SECURICO’s belief in teamwork and unity. The festivities culminated in a grand awards ceremony and celebratory lunch, where outstanding performers from 2024 were also recognised, including recipients of the prestigious MD’s Quality and Excellence Award for the first quarter of 2025.
Adding to the day’s inspiration was guest speaker Mrs. Miriam Zisengwe, Head of SME and Consumer Banking at Nedbank, whose powerful insights on leadership and empowerment resonated deeply with all in attendance.
