Three people died on the spot and three others where injured when the truck they were travelling in hit the trailer of a haulage truck going in the opposite direction.
The crash happened this Saturday, December 10.
In their statement on the crash, police said that the deceased and the injured were in an Ashok Leyland truck that was headed towards Bulawayo.
At around 0230 hours, at the 382 km peg along Harare –Bulawayo Road, the truck hit the trailer of a haulage truck that was going in the opposire direction.
There were no passengers on the haulage truck.
Three people perished on the scene and three others where injured.
The bodies of the deceased were taken to United Bulawayo Hospital for post mortems while the injured are admitted at Mpilo Hospital, the police have said.
