Fresh from having performed to a capacity crowd at the Harare International Conference Centre, Rick Ross has spoiled himself with a fancy piece of furniture - a custom-made table made from an aeroplane engine.

Though the table’s price tag has not been revealed, it is believed part of the proceeds from the Harare gig on November 18 contributed to the purchase.

An ordinary ticket into the biggest hip hop concert ever to come to Zimbabwe was selling for US$35 while the VVIP was going for US$5 000. The event was organised by Global Media in partnership with Roar Entertainment.

Taking to his twitter account, the burly crooner bragged of his new piece of furniture:

“Yo, you’re my family. I want you to see this. I just had my table delivered. Guess what I did. This is my amazing brunch area. I bought a motor from a 757 airliner. That’s right. An airplane. Had the blades polished, had the lights inserted. I can change the lights to any colour I want to. Had the tabletop glass cut. This is a custom. This is a Rick Rozay customisation. And this brunch here is for enjoying the finest spirits.”

The table sits at the centre of the living room of his US$3.5 million Miami house, surrounded by a luxuriously comfortable cream couch. Its top has clear and shiny glass with the plane engine visible below it.

The table has magnificent and glistening chandelier and on the wall is a fitted glass fish tank with exotic breeds swimming inside. It had one follower, @King_joe_music, posting a comment, “I was about to roast him, but that actually looks dope.”
